tctclr Meditative and gently hypnotic - achieved through thoughtfully manipulated samples. Its primitive melodies are very soothing, something akin to a lullaby played on a broken music box under two blankets in a warm basement.
    Lost Tribe Sound thumbnail
Lost Tribe Sound Without a doubt, these are the most delicate and rewarding kalimba and piano compositions I've ever heard. After doing some deep dives into a lot of early electronic, musique concreté, library type music, Robert Turman's Flux had me reaching for the buy button quicker than almost any of it. Nice to see he has remained quite active with music since 1981 when Flux was originally released. Flux is an extremely tactile sort of ambient music. Truly a timeless work of art!

Darren Phasey Brilliant new album from BUNKR. Caught him live at a recent Carbon Based Lifeforms gig in Birmingham. He played an awesome set. Had the pleasure of meeting him after the show. Really down to earth guy. Catch him live if he's in your area. You won't regret it. Favorite track: This Side Of Forever.
    tudoracid thumbnail
tudoracid A fantastic piece of electronica set in the great outdoors- except that this time you can feel the wind on your face and the stream on your feet. Yes, some melodic influence from Global Communication is very welcome but it’s very much its own thing- particularly as the pylons on the horizon might be friendly ufos. Favorite track: 96 Refraction.

Pyrosonic I was fortunate to be able to witness Lea and Norbert's multi channel performance in a beautiful chapel on the campus of Oberlin College where the liveness of the room gave the material an extra dimension. I was pleased to find that the music retained all of its sense of magic and mystery when heard in stereo and puts me back in that space to replay what was a truly tranceZendent experience! I really can't overstate what an amazing work this is.
