It's been a week and I'm still mostly just listening to this album.
While the Palace Falls is a really good companion to All Roads Lead to Rome in my opinion, and I *adore* The Self-Aware Patient. Favorite track: While the Palace Falls.

Bonhomme de Neige A microtonal black metal band in the vein of Liturgy and Jute Gyte. If you like either of those, give this one a try, it's worth it. Favorite track: Thorn Woos The Wound.

Luke I feel like I could listen to this album forever and never quite summarise it. Whether it's the Liturgy-esque opening that slams suddenly into a military marching band melody. Crunchy woozy raw bm. Sunny indie jazz acid trip. Kinda more raw bm but then a commercial for the 1972 summer Olympics. Or d-beat circle pit core that windmills you into a claustrophobic doom nightmare. Respectively. I love it all a lot. Favorite track: The Gold of Having Nothing.
