There's nothing quite like a JAK pop song. His more nuanced, downtempo work is great, but his energetic, hook-filled music and clever lyrics will always be my favorite thing to come out of the chip scene. I'm so glad he's still releasing material!

Ask me anything about French. I KNOW ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I don't understand the lyrics. But I do know what good music sounds like. And this is the absolute best!
Favorite track: Un Café Pour Mon Bébé.

HE LIVES, and brings some of his signature goode shit with him from a time long gone. Irresistibly happy melodies with dreamy guitars and vocals.
I'm so unbelievably happy to receive some stuff from him again, keep it up!
Favorite track: Strawberries and Cream.

Dixieland, a little Chet Baker, add a dose of chiptune, and then sprinkle a little bit of twee and you have yourself another classic JAK release. I could listen to this EP all day, such a great piece of work.
Favorite track: That Ain't Realistic.

Made so many memories with these songs. The McLay brothers are the most remarkable musicians I've had the honor of listening to.
Favorite track: I'll Never Need The Stars.

An EP unlike any other truly, with some new ideas and sounds that definitely make it stand out from even the most recent stuff. Of course it's exceptionally well written, too.
Favorite track: Picking Out A Number.

I remember hearing this song in one of Coestar's Minecraft videos in 2012. Since then I've been listening to this album.
Thank you, Coestar.

I was introduced to this album through the tune "Cluck" and my goodness I just love such an 'adventure-sounding' chiptune!

This is a genre mixing I've wanted for so so long, and I couldn't be less surprised or more happy that Dan is the person who did it. Such an absolute blast to listen to.

i would 100% shop at any mall that played this

Difficult to explain the layers of enjoyment felt when hearing this front-to-back. Immediately calming, ambient yet stirring. So many different portals into dnb, jungle, balearic etc; just when you think you're grounded by 1 sound or rhythm, the atmosphere begins shifting & expanding elsewhere...
Favorite track: Translucently Happy.

Transformative. Blurring the lines between nature and modernity. Every time I listen new details present themselves and I emerge once again rejuvenated.
Favorite track: Oxygen Lounge.
