Mouth of Gravel Their debut album from three years ago is one of my top ten favorite rock records of all time. Already have the digital from the Ripple subscription but I will absolutely be purchasing this on vinyl as well. Shadow of Jupiter is on permanent “must buy” status.

There’s several records I’m looking forward to this year, but nothing hyped me up like a new SoJ release! Can’t wait to hear the full thing dudes!

azazellrox Finally a group that lives up to my expectations! I have a Spotify account and nothing really appealed to me, I came on Bandcamp, I discovered this album and I just bought it! Thank you guys, you’re tearing everything up ! Favorite track: Unquiet Graves.
    meadowkamagica thumbnail
meadowkamagica There are catchy songs and then there are songs that get stuck in your head when you wake up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. Spell haunts you and makes you smile during those moments of twilight delirium.

All I want are killer riffs, great hooks and danceable rhythms delivered with emotional sincerity. Refining their advanced songwriting craft through each release in an incredibly consistent discography, Spell have conjured their finest foray into those characteristics. A fav <3 Favorite track: Exquisite Corpse.

    onsidefox thumbnail
onsidefox This album, much like the rest of Castle Rat's discography, captures the essence of going on an adventure through a wasted fantasy world. The instrumentals and the vocals collide in a way that sells the feeling of adventure beautifully. Favorite track: Red Sands.
    Trollfiend thumbnail
Trollfiend A perfect fusion of all the best nostalgia I have for fantasy and metal, and I appreciate their commitment to the mythos they've created. Favorite track: Cry For Me.

pinkytheent Tanith continue dishing out distant castles in the sunset and glimmering spaceships in the deep dark. What I really enjoy about Tanith is they really got the memo to take inspiration from the exploratory and sometimes downright unusual rhythms and melodies of 70s bands, not just to ape their clothes or exact song structures. Tanith keep you dialed in to their songs, feeling that you are being taken on a journey and wondering what turns the journey will take. Favorite track: Seven Moons (Galantia Pt. 2).
    BoneWalker thumbnail
BoneWalker Tanith is the kind of group that needs no effort to convince even the most demanding listener - they are absolutely great in what they are doing and that is old-school heavy rock sound at its BEST! An unbeatable Anglo-American alliance indeed! Favorite track: Adrasteia.
    shivaloca thumbnail
shivaloca a record that brings on memories I never had and makes me realize the glory again :)
such excellent job! Favorite track: Never Look Back.

    walrus_rodeo Dear Chaney Crabb,

Your diabolical vocals have given me stank face so often that I now just look that way permanently. My friends and family have become very concerned.
Please don't change. Favorite track: The Sinking Sun.
    Salami Dick Death thumbnail
Salami Dick Death Been a fan since Primal, I think this is their best album. Opening the vocal range is one big reason. Incredible songwriting too. ALL HAIL FRETLESS BASS
    progdolphin thumbnail
progdolphin Straying away from the pitfalls of modern deathcore, the hyperstimulation of wank-filled tech, and the overbearing mechanical groove into which ‘djent’ has trapped a once urgent percussive sound, Time Will Take Us All blends punishing ingredients in a sophisticated and exciting matter. Entheos has found a focus that has given rise to an experience that flourishes with end-to-end listenings. Favorite track: I Am the Void.
