brantly Minimalist and suite-like, each long piece unfolds as a series of distinct movements, almost five or six songs stitched together, rather than a single linear track. It leans into icy yet warm synth tones, sometimes reducing itself to single notes that hang in the air. There’s a deeply elegiac quality to it all, like a kind of dim-lit pensive funeral music, something ritualistic, austere, in a quietly shadowed way. Feels like a “new age Viking burial” rendered in slow, shifting synth passages.

Johan Old school dungeon synth at its best! I like how the songs conjure so different pictures in mind. After song 4 I was like: "Oh no, already 4/5 tracks over!" - when I realized that a massive quarter of an hour track follows. An epic end for this album! Favorite track: Fidélité.
