WoodySLC I like “Far, Far Away” because of its simple railroad driving rhythm. It’s got a beautiful Japanese folk song feeling to the melody. Love it. Favorite track: Far, Far Away.

edringger the more i listen, the more i love it. clear, playful, joyful - a fully embodied music! I like how legibly each instrument both tells its own story and layers onto what the others are saying - so i notice new parts and textures each time I listen. The guitar solo on Dance of Delight is legendary, and the groove on Snowy Step gets me every time.... but all of the tracks are pretty unique (and all truly delightful) so it's hard to pick a favorite! :) Favorite track: Snowy Step (feat. K Pasta).

bman6767 The Sword's masterclass album. Favorite track: To Take the Black (2023 Remastered Version).

jay2428 this album was the first one that I had heard from The Sword. Black river was the first song I heard off this album and that's all it took, I was hooked. Every song makes you want more, it's a good wholesome metal album. The music videos are a must watch, especially "Fire Lances of the Ancient Hyperzephyrians" it reminds of the movie Heavy Metal Favorite track: Maiden, Mother & Crone (2023 Remastered Version).

Papa Jay (Radio Smorgasbord) A fantastic album with an outstanding amount of great songs. This kind of doomy heavy metal is right up my alley. Favorite track: The Black River (2023 Remastered Version).
