Grubo Love hearing Albini's raw and aggressive recording style on my favorite Fugazi record Favorite track: Facet Squared (Albini Session).
    Mason Pond thumbnail
Mason Pond fuuuuck, finally the demos for this album. I petition that fugazi should release all the demos from every album and song.
Facet also sounds really good played slow and heavy. Favorite track: Facet Squared (Albini Session).

Brent Davis lyrics that put me in mind of shellac, married to jerky, repetitive, minimalist post-punk... excellent stuff!

    hagbardcelinedion thumbnail
hagbardcelinedion The wonderful performances of the group are elevated by the absolutely gorgeous production. The mix is perfect, lively and full, but not overproduced. It sounds like I'm right there with the Pickers. Favorite track: Moonshiner.

    ToyGuitarRagas thumbnail
ToyGuitarRagas Like Rothko painted colour these recordings evoke many different moods. All of them require an open ear to really reap the benefits on offer. Rich golds and yellows, lush green landscapes and darker, storm filled canvases. Savage gutburners indeed

  4. Living Theatre
    by Olden Yolk
    featured track 00:00/00:00
Cotton & Cane Cotton & Cane

    MateoFlo thumbnail
MateoFlo I didn't quite love this as much as the 2018 debut album which swept me off my feet. This is more melancholic, deeper and transitory. But still, I like it. And if anything, Caity gets more a spotlight on this record than Shane and the songs are insular and full of experimentation. Olden Yolk is wonderful. Favorite track: Castor & Pollux.

    Iain H thumbnail
Iain H 60 minutes of gentle, calming, meditative music. What Brian Eno would refer to as 'thinking music'. One of my favourite Longform releases to date.
    Charlie Davey thumbnail
Charlie Davey Take an hour out of your day and exist on a different, more relaxing plane with Flowering Tree. File next to Eno's Thursday Afternoon.
