Dlshfie0w an album I didn't realize I needed Favorite track: Seething and Scattered.
    Dududil thumbnail
Dududil The titans of sludge metal is back. This might well be their best work yet. Heavy, massive, and at times hypnotic. This is the album to hold onto in these desperate times. Favorite track: First Red Rays.
    Michael Carter thumbnail
Michael Carter This feels like a new beginning, forget about everything, just focus on this....passion and honesty, bare your soul....ignore ridicule, or tags that try to define you.....a portrait of a world....what's next?

    by Paint It Black
    supported by
    Ryan Duty thumbnail
Ryan Duty Been a fan of PIB since I discovered the song “greetings, fellow insomniacs”… it captivated me. Probably listened to that one short song 150 times in a row that first day. PIB is The right mix of everything, Especially since I’m a lyrics snob. PIB is a masterclass in energy, musicianship, and wordsmithing that buries disingenuous efforts of lesser bands. 10/10 ❤️
    honeydill thumbnail
honeydill PIB is my favourite hardcore band. I love their sound and aggression. No one does it like them. It’s a perfect blend of hardcore, punk, grunge, dirty and grimey. PIB ‘til I DIE Favorite track: Safe.
    emayess thumbnail
emayess Strong socio-political lyrics about the current state of the world Favorite track: Safe.
    birdmin924 thumbnail

  4. Observance
    by Primitive Man
    supported by
    Unhinderedbytalent thumbnail
Unhinderedbytalent There is a sense that Observance has lots more to it that I could describe but, in the end, there is no getting away from how gloriously bleak it is. Although I would hazard a guess that for some this barrage of hopelessness would be too much, I doubt anyone familiar with PM is coming to this record expecting spade after spade of positivity. Favorite track: Natural Law.
    justintylerhughes thumbnail
justintylerhughes Modern masterpiece of atmospheric death sludge
    Dan Hébert thumbnail
Dan Hébert Heavier than an M1 Abrams rolling over your foot. Fuck me, this is oppressive. Then again, it's Primitive Man so I knew what I was getting myself into. Favorite track: Iron Sights.

    Intrusive Signals thumbnail
Intrusive Signals a very very good Shackleton album! snappy groovy concise tracks ... whilst I enjoy the collaborations with the longer experiences, I think this is the best Shackleton work since the Scotch collaboration album which was also shorter tracks. very well produced as always, find myself constantly moving whilst listening to this job done 🐍 Favorite track: Crushing Realities.
    magoski thumbnail
magoski Where am I right now. Where as I today? I can feel the traces of
    movement.
    Lots of movement
Would be a dance if it's wasn't so erratic
    is the fire
minds of their own each flame
    rising together
"why is it", says Alan Watts, 'that we don't rise into love? We fall into Love! "

    when I hear this
    I slow down
    step outside of myself
    and see for myself
just how fast I am going
    I didn't realize
    how fast
    I was going
    I am going
    I am inbetween
    caught
    n'b'tween

Alexandre Maybe not what you’d expect from a "self-taught post-punk experimentalist", but incredibly well-crafted. By far one of the best things I've listen in 2025. Tbh I'm a bit awed.
    Marc Laidlaw thumbnail
Marc Laidlaw Extremely beautiful and, just as important, strange.
