First, there was a feeling of awe at the immense complexity of their music, while simultaneously processing all the emotions evoked by such a tremendous work. This is much more than technical skill and instrumental prowess; it's pure feeling and emotion and pierces the soul every time. These guys managed to create a unique musical language that places them in a world inhabited solely by them. Favorite track: Further Opening the Wounds.

Admittedly Ulcerate's music projects a very specific flavour - and omits countless others - focusing on perfecting the marrow of their dramaturgical message towards humanity... Nonetheless, in my opinion: Cutting the Throat of God should be thoroughly studied by future Music & Art Historians, and let's not exaggerate by comparing or analyzing - however - I believe that some of you can instinctively sense it.. Ulcerate have reached an unforeseen peak.. haven't they? Favorite track: Further Opening the Wounds.
