Matthew Cambion Here I am thinking this sounds like classic Deep Purple, and then the vocals kick in and I find myself thinking this is Deep Purple but with Leslie West from Mountain on vocals. This is the good stuff. Favorite track: Lightspeed Nights.

    VIV thumbnail
VIV Been listening to Black Metal for 15 years now, and this is the first album to recapture the euphoria I felt back when I first dipped my toes into the genre through Dimmu Borgir's Enthrone Darkness Triumphant.

This album is brilliant, dramatic, and brazenly original, casting aside conventions and proving Lamp of Murmuur as a master of the Genre. I'm excited to see what forms future releases will take. Favorite track: Hategate (The Dream-Master's Realm).

molotov_bomb I actually have no words other than thank you. wow.

chrismnyc Love the fat and raw-ish production style. Walks the line well between high production and raw black metal.

Der Ohlsen "[...] Close brutality and far away beauty constantly go hand in hand on these five tracks of colossal Egyptian Space Jesus lore. There are few moments in which the layers of riffs, synths, beats, vocals and whatever else is happening aren’t dazzling like an inconceivable cosmic power or at least a disturbing fever dream [...]"

    Brent Davis thumbnail
    Brent Davis Bong-Ra being awesome!

Also, Esoterik is probably the best representation of what this project encompasses: jazz, doom, industrial, noise, ambient, extreme metal, and more, all one glorious continuum - dark, heavy, avant-garde, mystical (those Eastern/Arabic sonics)...

(Fave track simply because of the great title - the whole album is astounding.)

🖤✌️🤘🇿🇦 Favorite track: Duality Of One.
    Obstacle of Affliction thumbnail
Obstacle of Affliction And somewhere in a post-apocalyptic world, a lone saxophone player attempts to elude the grasp of a deadly mechanized cult.
    Stunning release!
Hypnotic and heavy! Favorite track: Duality Of One.

Colin M. An absolutely wild and enthralling cosmic soundscape. Slift take you on a spaced out and tightly played psychedelic journey that I slept on way too freakin’ long. Favorite track: Lions, Tigers and Bears.

soulsatzero What an absolute masterpiece of melancholic death/doom! One of Draconian's best releases so far, and a strong contender for AOTY! Stunning performances by all musicians involved, especially Lisa and Anders, combined with a perfect, crystal clear, yet very organic production. Very difficult indeed to pick a favourite track since all of them are great. And now I am going to hit the 'repeat' button ... again. Favorite track: Misanthrope River.
    MormegilGurthang thumbnail

    kevinca thumbnail
kevinca I heard Sun, astray about a week ago and wept. The other two singles on this album are just as good. Preordered the album physically and digitally. No question this will be an AOTY contender in the metal community. Favorite track: Sun, astray.
    TrackSlut thumbnail
TrackSlut Instantly fell in love with Karmanjakah after hearing Eyes Seeing Eyes. I heard it less than a week ago and have listened to it countless times. The way they can harness heavy and melodic in a track is rare and much appreciated. Highly recommend going through their back catalog and watching the music videos. Everything about this band is top tier. Viggo is also very open about sharing his guitar tabs and playthrough videos. It inspired me to pick up 7 string guitar again. ❤️‍🩹 Favorite track: Eyes seeing eyes.

Shayne Dey Every now and again Bandcamp kick the rock I’ve been living under and a new band (to my ears) is brought to my attention. I listened to a snippet of the first track and promptly bought the entire catalog.
This is obscenely brilliant black metal.

Thank you Bandcamp.🤘🏻 Favorite track: The End of the Known Civilization.
    Chimplord thumbnail
Chimplord This is f'n great. It might be better than the first album. There are tons of tasty riffs and melodies.
Having Satan do the clean vocals is a nice touch. Favorite track: 3am.
    Abyssius Murkraken thumbnail
Abyssius Murkraken God damn! This album kicks so much ass!

Probably their best and most passionately produced album yet.

This is some masterclass black metal my friends, don't pass this album up!

Everything from the choirs all the way down to the drums, this album evokes so much atmosphere.

    Highly recommended!

eManRenaissanc My favorite band, still thriving 40 years in. There's no one else like 'em. Just ordered the vinyl and had to buy the BC version too, of course.
    KenshirO thumbnail
KenshirO Crushingly heavy, oppressive and filled with a dark epic sound that many death metal bands could never hope to achieve. Tops even Acts Of God. Fantastic production and some of their best work ever. I recommend listening to it with a pair of Heavys 🎧 on. It will make your testicles explode Favorite track: Attrition.
