  1. No Peace
    by NO/MÁS
    supported by
    Bart thumbnail
Bart One of my favorite grindcore bands in the last few years (both on albums and live). This new album ticks all the boxes. They still comfortably sit in the grindcore chaos while bringing in groove, death metal riffs and the occasional hardcore breakdowns. The frenetic energy of Gobi's guest vocals "Abolition" is another highlight. Top notch album, and I can't wait to see them again. Favorite track: Abolition.

    overfiend thumbnail
overfiend This album is simply magnificent. Every song is a gem! Favorite track: The Silent Life.
    coda thumbnail
coda I listened to this album constantly when I was at my lowest point in life, wandering the streets in silence and solitude, containing my apathy and aimlessness. This release means a lot to me as it really captured the feelings I had in a way I can’t describe. Thank you Rivers for being a being there for me through my darkest days and just generally being a kickass band. Favorite track: The Silent Life.
    Trider thumbnail
Trider Not a single bad track. Absolute masterpiece and contender for my top album. Favorite track: Where Owls Know My Name.

  3. Death Atlas
    by Cattle Decapitation
    supported by
    wintrowvestrit thumbnail
wintrowvestrit Bring Back The Plague was the first song I remember hearing a couple years back by Cattle Decapitation, and having finally listened to the full album it's become an instant classic in my catalogue. Favorite track: The Geocide.
    thekurtaction thumbnail
thekurtaction The band really focuses on coherent songwriting and narrative here. The album lacks the chaos and fun of other releases but this seems to have been an artistic choice and enabled them to establish a more serious vision for their music. Excellent album. Favorite track: Bring Back the Plague.
    denimdingus thumbnail
denimdingus Had the privilege to see them play this front to back! If you are still debating on going do yourself a favor and catch it! Favorite track: One Day Closer to the End of the World.

  4. The Anthropocene Extinction
    by Cattle Decapitation
    supported by
    thekurtaction thumbnail
thekurtaction A unique Cattle Decap album. Already foregrounding musicality over heaviness but not yet bringing the full melodic range of what was to follow. Captures the essence of the band's unique style. Favorite track: Mammals in Babylon.
    RJ thumbnail
RJ If ‘Monolith of Inhumanity’ is where Cattle Decapitation discovered their current, unique, melodic deathgrind-core(ish) style, then ‘The Anthropocene Extinction’ is where they fully embraced it before nearly perfecting it on ‘Death Atlas.’ These guys have consistently been putting out some of the best music in the business since this transition. 8/10 Favorite track: Not Suitable for Life.
    ItalianThrasher thumbnail
ItalianThrasher to be honest the first time i listened to this album, i didn't like it. But as of now it grew on me and i must admit i was wrong. This album packs quite the punch and Is top 3 of the whole Cattle discography🤘🤘 Favorite track: Mammals in Babylon.

Es una propuesta muy arriesgada, pero parece que se lo toman con calma. En 2015 ya tocaban esto de una forma espléndida.

    maltebrigge thumbnail
maltebrigge Starts with an insane technical cacophony and ends with a mariachi band waltzing through the devilish shrieks and demonic growls serenading the fiery lakes of hell. Utterly ridiculous and stunningly captivating. Everyone should hear it at least thrice in their life. Favorite track: When Children Dance on Corpses....
    progdolphin thumbnail
progdolphin Quasidiploid swings between brutal Cryptopsy riff smashing, Pat Martino jazz guitar pleasantries, Necrophagist sweep punishing, and Chuck Mangione brass crooning—unhinged, unbothered, and anything but accessible. Virtuosity reigns in the court of the undead Countess ov Brutal Brass, leading the left field Quasidiploid charge toward something truly curious, dangerous, and delightful. Favorite track: Massacre Fantasy.

    endlessfuneral69 thumbnail
endlessfuneral69 200 Stab Wounds are on another level. They continue to refine their songwriting, honing in on writing the hookiest, hardest, and most brutal music they can. First initial listens didn't hit me as hard but after 3 listens I've concluded that it's their best song to date. The drum solo at the 3:00 mark is so ridiculous and over-the-top that I can't help but love it.
