Ed Copenhagen Two master musicians, listening, responding and forming a musical conversation with each other. The joy and mutual respect and connection, is so apparent. I have played this album several times since my purchase and love the music more after every listen.

clairdelune717 Anna Calvi wrote "Drive" for the excellent, underseen film The Souvenir Part II. It was never released as a single, until it was repurposed as a duet with a longer outro on this album. So happy after 5 years I don't need to rely on my YouTube to mp3 copy anymore! Favorite track: Is This All There Is?.

    Alison Chaiken thumbnail
Alison Chaiken The album reminds me of Pharaoh Sanders at his happiest. The tracks are as upbeat and infectious as Stevie Wonder's without having even the tiniest whiff of pop sensibility.

My favorite is "Ennio's Tag." It's lyrical and swinging and makes me stop and just listen every time I hear it.

SlithyToves Brilliant album, rhythmically creative and catchy. I also can’t recommend highly enough the album Painter’s Spring by William Parker, Daniel Carter, and Hamid Drake (not on bandcamp, can be heard on spotify) Favorite track: Talaps Theme.
