  1. Nova
    by Sylvaine
    supported by
    Urso X thumbnail
Urso X Sylvaine continues the spine-tingling brilliance she captured on Atoms Aligned, Coming Undone. Along with Heike Langhans, one of the most beautiful voices in music today, in any genre. Favorite track: Fortapt.
    ajatuslapsi thumbnail
ajatuslapsi Amazing album. One of my new favourites I discovered in 2024. Favorite track: Mono No Aware.
    Inso thumbnail
Inso I don't know how I missed the existence of Sylvaine. I've been listening for Alcest for quite a while now, as this genre resonates so greatly with my spirits. I discovered Sylvaine after a YT suggestion of their show filmed by Arte at Hellfest 2024. And I'm glad I clicked on the video. This is so great! Incredibly dense emotionally, beautiful voice which can go from the skies to the darkness of the souls with these screams. Really impressive work. I hope I can see Sylvaine live soon !

  3. Atoms Aligned, Coming Undone
    by Sylvaine
    supported by
    Kristian K. Erikson thumbnail
Kristian K. Erikson In addition to the beautiful and stormy soundscapes, Katherine's lyrics cut me to the bone while also giving a me a space to express difficult emotions. Favorite track: Abeyance.
    Joseph thumbnail
Joseph I have no words to describe this album Favorite track: L'Appel du Vide.
    David Fischer thumbnail
David Fischer Happy 600 to me! Atoms Aligned, Coming Undone truly is fit for that spot. I saw Sylvaine perform in Neunkirchen yesterday. Not only did it cement her as my favourite artist, it also made me realise HOW much her music means to me. I know this is said a lot and maybe I'm being too enthusiastic about certain records myself, but this is not one of them. I have no words to say how much I deify this project nor how deeply and personally it touches me. For that, I will be forever grateful. Perfect. Favorite track: Mørklagt.

  4. Wistful
    by Sylvaine
    supported by
    edgeraven thumbnail
edgeraven truly amazing! hard to pick a favorite track, but if I have to pick one it would be this. entire album is epic! Favorite track: In the Wake of Moments Passed By.
    David Fischer thumbnail
David Fischer Wistful is one of those albums that truly lives up to its name. Sylvaine's compositions are grand, full of deep melancholy and translucent emotionality. From the first second, you will be abducted, tied up and sent on a journey, to find something. What exactly it is? That seems to be up to you. I personally find rest, peace. Introspection, meditation. Like its follow-up Atoms Aligned, Coming Undone, Wistful is a crystalline gem of the blackgaze genre with a solid amount of doom atmosphere. Favorite track: Delusions.
    ASHDRNoT I thumbnail
ASHDRNoT I Katherine Shepard's work is just brilliant. Favorite track: Wistful.

Marc Back in 2010 this album was my absolute everything. Hello my old friend.
    Laetitia Onyx thumbnail

Favorite track: Écailles De Lune (Part II).
    thas2s thumbnail
thas2s surreal experience!! the metal rocks and fucks and goes crazy, and it all blends together naturally and seamlessly with the low, slow buildup ofthe more shoe-gazey parts. fantastic. Favorite track: Écailles De Lune (Part II).
