I saw em opening for TV On The Radio, second concert I ever drove to as a freshly-licensed teenager and they blew my mind proper. Ce disque empreint d'amour et d'une certaine nostalgie est porté par un son résolument plus R&B que son prédécesseur, qui permet de clairement ressentir les états d'âme de Thundercat.
Lotus and the Jondy est un titre déchirant où l'on se retrouve dans l’œil du cyclone, pour ensuite de retrouver le calme et clore sur une magnifique envolée dans le Message pour Austin.
