Matt Samolis There is so much to love about this album and this band! This release in particular harnesses total command of impressive sparse/dense textures, mature songwriting, and of course Mali's incredible voice. The considerable breadth of influences here are coherently assembled, and delivered seamlessly with abandon. Today I'm sayin 'Venus..' is my favorite track, but that keeps changing as each track reveals more upon successive listenings. Favorite track: Venus in Transit.
