Captain Nemo Pretty much peak Cannons, as far as what they've made available to BC. Laid back chill-synth melodies with smooth vocals. Cannons has since gone on to produce further albums under a number of labels. Worth mentioning they recently reissued a slightly reworked version of "Shadows" as well. (Tragically not available to BC though.) Favorite track: Round and Round.

J-p3 the smoothest, dreamiest shoegaze synthpop i've ever come across. there are definitely hints of classic 50's era soul, which really helps to give this artist a distinct sound in the synthwave genre. the breathy vocals, gauzy compositions, and minimalist sensibilities all add up to an exquisite listening experience. Favorite track: Backwards.

Fludd-Stop It is so fitting that the Xen portion of Black Mesa be separated into its own album. I've never seen a game completely flip the switch on its soundtrack identity, and especially not to such a degree of success seen here. Ascension remains the only track that gives me goosebumps every single time I listen to it-- just... Wow. Favorite track: Ascension (D.E.).
