This album leans harder into heavy psych than their '16 release; would love this to be a continuing trend with future releases, 'cause this rocks.
Some tracks have bits of heavy, fuzzy psych rock in between trippier alt rock sections (Fall Into the Eye, Castle Attack), some are straight surf (Cracked Teeth), and others have still an even heavier psych rock sound (Evil Eye Moves Forward, Floating Dagger, Sticky Baby, New Eyes + Tongue).
This is a pretty fun, solid album - give it a listen!
Favorite track: NEW EYES + TONGUE.
