RidgeRacer4 With lightning fast fingers, PJ is one of the best shredders on the planet. However, his compositions are even more lethal and impactful the slower he goes. This album is worth it for “Stellarossa” alone.
His work and collaborations have yielded some truly magnificent tracks, especially the best “Run to You” since Bryan Adams. Favorite track: Calling All The Angels.
    Cris R thumbnail
Cris R Amazing album, can't stop listening to it Favorite track: Amalfitana.

exsurgo I feel that Yachtmaster cannot be topped but this is a great surprise. I do like the more-synth sound of this record.

Yamnah I've never been a huge fan of dongeon synth, but when it's done by Pär Boström, it's a different thing. Once again the first song must be considered as an introduction to the whole album, which must be listened to wholefully. And once again it's a mesmerizing piece. I love the synth sounds which sometimes make me think of early Vangelis stuff, but more melancholic. Hard to pick a favorite song...
Great continuation to Aindulmedir, same cook but slighly different recipe. Thank you, master. Favorite track: Det Tysta Mörka.
    wraehkel thumbnail
wraehkel The cold cryptic lands of the north will bewitch you with their songs of glooming comfort, luring you deeper into their trees as you seek to uncover more of their secrets. Magic nights. Northern lights. Freezing winds. Enchanting landscapes. Hidden towers and abandoned castles. You will feel awe and a sense of being at home, but a dark lurking shadow follows you as well. Favorite track: Nordanvinden.
    Dave Aftandilian thumbnail
Dave Aftandilian Pretty much everything Pär Boström touches turns to gold in my ears, and Trollslottet does the same. I feel a sense of deep melancholy, but also the warmth of an inner fire of will that drives us on through the darkness. This world he evokes, a gray place emptied of hope and wonder, which even the gods have abandoned, feels too much like fact than fiction—yet still I find its softly shifting shadows and strange glimmers soothing.

M!D! B!TCH A dark, pulsating synth release that channels post-apocalyptic tension through brooding atmospheres and relentless analog drive. It catches me from the first to the last note. Chapeau Favorite track: Transmission 14.

Lord Zardon How do you improve on an excellent album? Sharpen the sound up and give it more thrust. Excellent remaster of one of the albums that set the standard of what Spacewave is supposed to sound like. All engines go. Favorite track: Hypersonic (2025 Remastered Version).
    jetpack6 thumbnail
jetpack6 Nice remaster, much more dynamic range in the recording. The three new bonus tracks are really good. A lovely piece of work, thanks Dynatron! Favorite track: Planets in the Sky (Bonus).
    Will the Thrill thumbnail
Will the Thrill This song played as I was sitting in the mountains of las vegas with my breakfast cooking over an open fire as the sun peaked over the tops. Unreal experience. Favorite track: Hyperion Sunrise (2025 Remastered Version).
    sara111 thumbnail
sara111 No words can describe how mind-blowing fantastic this album is. Thank you so much for this experience! =) Favorite track: Not of This World (2025 Remastered Version).

jdtheninja I love GUNSHIP!!! And this remix of T'Pau's song is fantastic!!
    CMB thumbnail
CMB One wonders if, when composing the original melody, Decker and Rogers could possibly have known that they had created something that would be ideally suited for a genre that wouldn’t exist for another 20+ years. And that begs what other similar treasures from the era might be mined thus.
    david_86 [phoan] thumbnail
david_86 [phoan] The song was a huge hit in 1987, topping the charts in several countries and becoming an anthem. It serves as a powerful reminder of the consequences of chasing our ambitions without considering their impact on ourselves and others. By covering this track, Gunship has taken another step forward into the realm of synthwave!
    Falcom thumbnail
Falcom Another fantastic cover that warps us beyond light speed straight back to 1987.
