flightoficarus (Metal Trenches) Very impressive black and death metal with tons of atmosphere and comparisons to everything from Oranssi Pazuzu to Schammasch

𝕸𝖎𝖈𝖍𝖆𝖊𝖑 With Tenebrario, Hierophany has managed to capture the special sort of menacing magic that many occult bands strive for but few achieve. By balancing technical proficiency with a raw, spiritual intensity, they have crafted an incredibly authentic and ritualistic feeling album. It is a terrifying, layered, and ultimately captivating hymn to the darkness.

𝕸𝖎𝖈𝖍𝖆𝖊𝖑 With Beyond the Black Horizon, Kaosophia has delivered their most potent and professional work to date. It is a rare example of an album that manages to be technically proficient without losing the raw, primal energy that defines the genre.

    RUIN thumbnail
RUIN I’ve been listening to Black Metal for over 25 years and this album was an instant buy. I love the raw dungeon sound and the riffs. Great release! Favorite track: Wolves Feast on Forgotten Dreams.
    thehorribleasp thumbnail
thehorribleasp I really like this. Probably knight without a name is the strongest song overall, but they’re all pretty good. Etched oath is my favorite riff, which yeah, black metal, but it’s still at its core Rock & Roll, and rock is fundamentally about the riff. They’re all great riffs, and tbh I’ve been thinking about starting my own black metal band so I really like this album, looking forward to hearing more from Draigveil. Rock on! 🤘🏻🏳️‍⚧️
    Junge Asche thumbnail
Junge Asche I genuinely appreciate the music and have always supported it with respect. However, after positively engaging, liking posts and occasionally sharing my own creativity, I was suddenly blocked on Instagram without explanation. It feels strange when an artist shuts out listeners who truly care. Art should build connection, not exclusion.

vojev Bayan has featured for a while in Grima's music, but I feel like it finally transcends its more textural role into become a fully-realized part of the melodic structure here. A strangely soothing, hopeful album. I hope they will tour the USA some day. Favorite track: Skull Gatherers.
    Abyssius Murkraken thumbnail
Abyssius Murkraken Atmospheric black metal with a lot of warmth and passion despite being from the harsh and frigid hills of Siberia. This is my favorite release since Rotten Garden!
Grima has never released a bad album, so if you've never witnessed this beautifully distinctive sound created by them, pick any album, and you won't regret it. highly recommended. Favorite track: Skull Gatherers.
    pfk505 thumbnail
pfk505 Always liked this band but felt it needed something extra to achieve greatness - well that has now happened. Easily their best album. Songwriting, aggression and instrumentation are all outstanding. Pacing is perfect, every song is both unique and part of a coherent whole, and 50 minutes are gone in the blink of an eye as one is compltely absorbed. Full support! Favorite track: Flight of the Silver Storm.

    Styg Bond thumbnail
Styg Bond Raw, orthodox black metal ala Enthroned. For a second I thought Noirsuaire was going to go right into “Evil Church”. Outstanding effort for fans of traditional black metal. Another band keeping the essence of black metal alive. Excellent work! Favorite track: The Scourge From Kisiljevo.
    distrothe1 thumbnail
distrothe1 This is pure raw Black Metal as it supposed to be! Keep the flame alive!
    Juho Koli thumbnail
Juho Koli It has been a long since I have been so hyped about a new black metal release. This is brilliant! Raw, brutal and melodic, just the way I like it👌
