bmurator Irish / Icelandic Black Metal. This is one of those rare albums that makes me say "now what?". This is a one man, Wann or Stephen Lockhart, project & it is practically perfect in every way. The agression, the music - it is all there! These albums make me wonder what is left for all the other musicians to do. Luckily, BM is such a rich & diverse field that there will always be room for another "now what?" I believe... :) Very highly recommended!!!more...

Wow. I had no doubts it was going to be good, but this surpasses all my expectations. If sleep paralysis is anywhere close to this album's atmosphere, I never want to experience it. "Ephialtes" is absolutely sensational, opening with incredible power, and building to one of the album's highlights starting at 1:31. "Incubatio" is equally cataclysmic, with its dark ambient intro, followed by blistering blast beats, until the apocalyptic shriek at 2:51 — unreal.

mourner In addition to the great concept of this album the music is simply fantastic. While there's always an almost archaic and wild darkness creeping up on you the songs are slowly burning their way into your subconscious with their immense and hard hitting emotionality.
