  3. Growing Up In Public

smarty- The music on this album is so minimalistic and yet uplifting with so much deepness. I often listen to it when being on a flight and watching the world underneath passing by.
Favourite tracks “Lbp”, “Lateral Thinking” and “Melan”. I was lucky to see Donnacha playing live @Sensor in Cologne back in early 2000’s along with Mathew Dear and it was so impressive.

clyde_thecoyoat I can't stop listening to this album. Bleak, intricate, visceral and oozing with personality. Favorite track: Makeshift Swahili.
    William Yonts thumbnail
William Yonts Maybe the scariest album ever. Absolutely demented instrumentals (just listen to that final track's barren soundscape) and ominous, almost apocalyptic lyrics. I think "Makeshift Swahili" is one of the great songs, never fails to give me chills. Favorite track: Makeshift Swahili.
    corvidae_rofocale thumbnail
corvidae_rofocale fucking wild album, I don't know how this flew under the radar for so many year until Pitchfork snobs picked it up, but you know what? i'm glad, the nihilism, the timeless sound, the freaky and unconventional uses of recording and instruments make this album oh so more unique and special, thanks This Heat, and PLEASE, support the band by buying this record, even though they're disbanded. Favorite track: Cenotaph.
