    Reizayoi thumbnail
Reizayoi Some of Bell Witches best work in my opinion. Hauntingly beautiful. Favorite track: Judgement, In Air: II – Felled (In Howling Wind).
    caffeinatedmetalhead thumbnail
caffeinatedmetalhead Four Phantoms is yet another hallmark in Bell Witch's catalog. While it doesn't have the same, profound impact on me as Mirror Reaper and The Clandestine Gate do, it's still a very powerful, moving album that one has to be in the right mindset or atmosphere to appreciate it and give a proper listen. Favorite track: Suffocation, A Drowning: II - Somniloquy (The Distance Of Forever).
    Shotgun_sewrslide thumbnail
Shotgun_sewrslide bell witch at this time of hour, in this part of the hemisphere? all localized in my collection? Favorite track: Suffocation, A Burial: I - Awoken (Breathing Teeth).

red-den Had a previous purchase of this I let play in the background for weeks.

Korean Bird Paintings is someone's deep cut request that quickly became my fave tMG song. Favorite track: Korean Bird Paintings (The Jordan Lake Sessions Volume 3).
    Adrian thumbnail
Adrian the three track run of Bell Swamp, Rat Queen, and Shelved is collectively the most moving live music I've ever heard outside of the psychic veil that descends upon you at a physical venue Favorite track: Bell Swamp Connection (The Jordan Lake Sessions Volume 3).
    kaelfawkes thumbnail
kaelfawkes There are other songs I like more, but the stop/start about 3 minutes into In Memory of Satan reminds me so strongly of hanging out with friends from 20 years ago while they rehearsed for a show; the waves of nostalgia are something else, powerful enough to knock me down. I hope those dudes are alive out there somewhere. Favorite track: In Memory of Satan (The Jordan Lake Sessions Volume 3).

victor49 Saw these guys open for Canned Heat and the hype is real They Brought the house down. I remember Canned Heat came out and watched them. They were a powerful presence. Good to see this released. Yes, the bass player wore no shoes!
    agradek thumbnail
agradek Oh, my! The longer I live the more I'm embarrassed with the world I live in. How could happen such music was never released and got lost for more than half of a century??? I'm coming for the second time, and I'm even not yet halfway through the album!
And it was recorded in a cheap studio where they had not enough mics for the proper setup??? Alleluia! Favorite track: Shoot That Load Boogie (Live 1969) (bonus track).
    SabbathJeff thumbnail
SabbathJeff I don't normally blindly pre-order CDs with international shipping...but when I do, I don't know that I even care what it sounds like. The personnel involved, the back story, the legacy. The fact that these things are just sitting undiscovered and un-listened is truly mind blowing. As exciting to a biologist who finds a missing link; here's another audiophile's missing link to help put the whole puzzle together. I can't wait to spin this CD! Thank you Guerssen!!!
