DistantMemories Echosoft’s debut album “Weight Of Your Own” undoubtedly speaks for itself and certainly stands on its own, succeeding across the board in the variety of genres it bridges within its sweeping musical journey, it will hook you in with its nostalgic Chillwave beginnings then keep you locked in place for the second half as it goes full steam ahead in a powerful Post-Punk/Shoegaze explosion of sound, before dropping you off gently back to the ground at the end. This is one for the “2023” yearbook. Favorite track: Duo.
