  1. The Halls of Ever Summer
    by Skeleton Mage
    supported by
    The Ashen Codex thumbnail
The Ashen Codex Another amazing album from Skeleton Mage; no one does the medeival dungeon sound better. This album uses all of the instrumentation for whimsy but has a very melancholic undertone, probably my favorite release of his so far. Favorite track: Secret Sorcery.

Red I was fortunate enough to catch Moonglow at a show near my area. Got instantly hooked while three beers deep 🤙🏼 can't wait for the next album. Favorite track: Stormcaller.
    𝐿𝒶𝓊𝒹𝒶𝓃𝓊𝓂 thumbnail
𝐿𝒶𝓊𝒹𝒶𝓃𝓊𝓂 Calming and beautiful. Some of the tracks remind me of Souls games, and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to them while reading a good fantasy novel. Favorite track: Sword and Fang.

Lord_ArieMan_23 Love this, reminds me of Weress! Favorite track: Gateway to Otherland.

  3. The Age of the Saucers
    by Hollywood Burns
    supported by
    Nocturnal Egg (Jordan) thumbnail
The Age of the Saucers. Sa synthwave remplace le théâtre éclectique par une ambiance lourde et industrielle ; d'autres grands artistes se font aussi laver le cerveau. Favorite track: Abomination from Planet X.

unidual That's what I want to hear when I'm abducted.
    yourcolleague thumbnail
yourcolleague While both the previous album and this one have things in common, "The Age of the Saucers" doesn't have the signature theremin-like sound from "Invaders" or it's not as prevalent. It also has less blending of genres which made the first one a mix of shredwave, drama and cheese.

Nevertheless, Age makes for a great sequel: It sounds less "up in arms" and "resisting against an invasion". Instead, it paints the cold reality of the remaining survivors of the established otherwordly dictatorship. Favorite track: Silent Fortress.

palehorse666 Ecce ortum regis mali. Favorite track: Ego Sum Nox.
    Angry Grandpa thumbnail
Angry Grandpa This is what I call darksynth. Massive, raw, complete storyline and a really strong dark mood. Easily the best thing I’ve heard in a while. Favorite track: Abyssum Invoco.

chanelmark7 Always a pleasure to visit the woodland realm. I’ve been anticipating the album drop ever since I heard a few songs. Carniflora, was it for me, I was sold! Check out their cover of ‘Dreamer’, it’s a real awesome black metal take to the late Ozzy.

Lovely play through, love the vibes 🍄! Favorite track: Carniflora.

Wisdoms End Instantly liked it within the first few notes. Now I sit here thinking about, what I would discribe this sound?! It got something playful but also something sinister-melancholic... maybe if Cowboy Beebop haven't had its great soundtracks this could be quite fitting I think?!

Anyway, have a listen and maybe come up with better words than me. Favorite track: Moonlighting.
    Lili thumbnail
Lili I love the imagery of this music, comes straight from the 90s. So original. Superb wav quality; you can hear so much more compared to streaming. Favorite track: Trickster.
    Jim the Gardener thumbnail
Jim the Gardener Maro is probably my favorite instrumentalist to date. Favorite track: Truffle.
