Only two tracks to choose from but I can’t believe how much of PV fanboy I am! Check it all out as it is all ACE! Favorite track: Here Is Where It Starts.

This seems to be Disc 3 of his Masterpiece set, which has historically been a relatively hard-to-obtain collectible. (Can anyone confirm?)
Not sure if this disc was why, but it was definitely my favorite. It’s like chill-out 80’s electro. It’s going to sound great riding around Night City.
Glad this is finally getting a proper release. Love the whole thing.
Favorite track: Meditation One.

Perfect soundtrack for my morning stretch and meditation ritual. I didn't realize Meditation Six had played because my dog was snoring so loudly. Thank you for the music Mr. Craig.
Favorite track: Meditation Two.

While not as consistent as their last full-length, still a fun album. Seems some of these track will be very well-suited in a live setting. That's where Escuela Grind always excelled.
Favorite track: Always Watching You.

Oh, FFS, this is just ridiculous. AOTY for me. It's a clinical, efficient, brutal sonic bludgeoning of the highest calibre. This is the apex of the art form right now. Buy it or miss out on one of the best extreme music experiences of your life.
Favorite track: Turbulence.

Moral Injury came on shuffle after a Winter track, and it jibed with it. I realized that despite being on a grindcore album, it and some of the other tracks secretly have doom nature.
Favorite track: Moral Injury.

Hard to pick just one highlight. The whole album is great. My favorite grind album of the year. Incredible!
Favorite track: Cliffhanger.

I’m trying not to lose my head. Escuela Grind rules!
Favorite track: Cliffhanger.

My favourite record of this year, it's brutal and beautiful. I like death metal and I like grind, this is the perfect mix for my taste. It also reminds me to some mincecore bands! Let's fucking go!
Favorite track: Endowed With Windows.

Strangely soothing for a Harvestman album. The (excellent) music aside, I really love the concept behind this one, this stubborn clinging to natural cycles and the need to recconnect us with nature and the unconsciousness. Thank you, SvT.
Favorite track: Psilosynth.
Lake of Berra
From the depths of a neolithic passage tomb to the milky way and beyond . This is a hypnotic, pulsating work of art. Music to dream to...
Favorite track: Give Your Heart To The Hawk.

SVT just keeps plunging deeper into the Harvestman sound, and revealing new dimensions. I wanna make music this good someday.
Favorite track: Psilosynth (Harvest Dub).

"it keeps me alive
makes me stand
when I wanted to die
it lifts my head
whispers you must live."
Favorite track: The Pit Of Me.

Nietzsche gifted me the hammer.
"I was a dog on a short, short chain.
And now there is no chain".
The triumph of my will. Favorite track: Will Is The War.

To describe what this album means to me is truly impossible. It is a pure expression of life at its core. Aggression, forgiveness, alienation, agony.
Favorite track: No Chain.
Lake of Berra
A mighty and beautiful work, Steve goes from strength to strength, everything from No Wilderness Deep Enough onward reveals a soul on fire. So glad to be able to listen to this album beneath the Hunter's Moon.
Favorite track: Herne's Oak.

I think it is fitting to write a review of the Triptych as a whole piece.
Having listened to it back to back a few times now, I really love this project. The experimentation and samples are great, like The Hag of Beara vs the poet, Nocturnal Field Song & Snow Spirits to name a few highlights.
I hope he pushes more into this on future projects.
Favorite track: Clouds Are Relatives (The Bug - 'Amtrak Dub Mix').
BRTNDR
The more I see Colin Marston’s name pop up, the better music seems to get.
Also, this is phenomenal. This is the kind of thing to hear when you’re just about bored of grind. JUST WHEN I THOUGHT I WAS OUT...

Grind can be a bit one-note and boring. This album is very much not that at all. This is art.
Lars Gotrich
Hands down, the most gripping grindcore album of 2020. Chatta is where these Nepalese grindsters truly become a New York band, absorbing a world of noise pollution — powerviolence riffs, psychedelic death-metal guitar solos, spectral chord voicings, blast-beaten hardcore, free-jazz madness — to present a clear-eyed vision of destruction.
Favorite track: Antim Bhet.
