tedayre KV goes solo, rings of smoke for a halo. Psych-rock jams and intimate finger-picked guitar songs - all layered in a haze of beautiful analog instrumentation. Favorite track: Puppet to the Man.
    jpowell736 thumbnail
jpowell736 I cannot believe it took me this long to own this album. It is one of my favorites of all time and in my opinion it's Kurt Vile's masterpiece. Favorite track: Baby's Arms.

sinner_saint I’ve begun experimenting with acoustic guitar after being influenced by Robbie Basho. I’ve created my own tuning with intervallic scales. Robbie Basho is as precious as the Cyrus Cylinder!

    Pieter Bos thumbnail
Pieter Bos Robbie Basho was a phenomenal master of the strings and there's plenty of that beauty to find in this box. But I was never a big fan of his singing style. His singing is quite over the top and there's a bit too much of that in this set for my taste. But still this box is a deep dive into the mysterious soul that is Robbie Basho. Favorite track: Harakiri, Kali Style.
    hellyeahitsian thumbnail
hellyeahitsian Never will there be another singer or guitarist like Robbie. An absolutely otherworldly collection.

Even more amazing than the absolute volume and quality of recordings here is how this shines new light on the mysteries of Robbie. Devotional songs to Baba, early blues covers, and torn-heart torch songs are here that you won't hear on any of the albums.

Worth every penny x 10. An absolute gift. Favorite track: Tears of Teresa.
    Charlie Moonbeam thumbnail
Charlie Moonbeam I grabbed the sampler, had to pick up this massive collection of masterful Basho recordings.

A transcendent player, to be sure.
