Divinhaquem Idles is one of those bands once you hear, you know it's for life. It love bombs you by screaming what you think, playing what you feel and being fiercely happy amidst the crap.
Well, at least that's for me. And ironically , I knew them from my ex-bf. Idles and the cats surpassed the bullsht and I take them with me for life as an act of resistance.
Scruff McGruff I'm a bit late to the party, but at least I got here. this album is fantastic. Slow Savage is my favorite track. It's a slow lament about how poor a partner one can be backed by a haunting piano and a faded drum beat ala the ronette's "be my baby", subverting that classic love song into an elegy of regret and shame. love it. mattgraupman IDLES came right out of the gate, firing on all cylinders, with this one; a blistering set of post-punk anthems that'll get even the crustiest old punk pumping their fist and dancing in the pit.
