gnihilo I can't put my finger on exactly why I pre-ordered the album right away, but "Apis Bull" ticks all my boxes: cavernous yet melodic, abysmal yet radiant, progressive yet very cohesive. Can't wait for April 17!

JDMP now there is a lot of solid stuff happening in this one preview track. but i’ll be damned if this track, Apis Bull, doesn’t achieve a high degree of progressive technicalities that are only accentuated by the excellent vocals found therein. Keep your ears open for this one.

Urso X “Apis Bull” set the anticipation bar sky high for BIAR, and I’m thrilled to report that it doesn’t disappoint! The album’s slightly hazy/smoggy atmosphere in combination with its technical proficiency/progginess is quite simply intoxicating. And in its quieter moments, I’m reminded of Dream Unending, which is never a bad thing :) All in all, a disarming, at times dizzying, always beautiful listening experience!

Thanks to AlexP for the find :) Favorite track: Blind In Abyssal Realms.

Gary Davidson Not since Oceansize has a British band been able to meld genres so well and Drugs sets the foundations to take this band to greatness.

GeN2Mo I'm not that well read within this subgenre space. So, speaking from my context this registres as Pop Metal built on a foundation of Sludge. Which I find immensely appealing. There's just a rawness and a feel for the value of empty spaces and pauses that a lot of the more Industrial Metal-derived Pop Metal has lacked for a long time now. There's so much deliberate control over pacing an emphasis here.

jim_fuego Very far from terrible, more like brilliant. Heavy? Melodic? Righteous fury? Check, check and check. Brilliant live the other night as well Favorite track: History's Biggest T-Shirts.

Gary Davidson One of the finest bands this miserable piece of land has produced in a long time. Very excited to see where album number three takes us.
