rikm An outstanding release from an exceptional talent. Marta has already made a number of substantial contributions to the Trip Hop genre, and this album is another solid achievement in a very impressive career.
    Gareth Fitzpatrick thumbnail
Gareth Fitzpatrick Killer stuff. Dark, Nocturnal, Angsty, Sensitive, ethereal. Tricky has lost none of his chops, his talent has merely slipped under the radar.

hollie its 6am. I was just on the porch smoking a cigarette listening to this album for the first time. I came in to go to the toilet with my ear buds in on ketamina. and a light was left on that my love forgot to turn off in the bathroom so I went to the toilet and read about you Marta. my other writings magically disappeared but it was something along the lines of "hey I love this album and im smoking Manchester royal reds so I guess I barrack for them now too. thankyou both so much♡from Australia... Favorite track: Leave The Lights feat. Tricky.

    Tim Mee thumbnail
Tim Mee Hints of Portishead and even touches of Sade in places. Much of the album is dub reggae ... but not as you have known it before. Chilled, classy with lovely Holly Cook-esque vocals & woodwind flourishes - with lots of older Sherwood DNA running through it. Enjoy the ride. Favorite track: Uncertain Times.

Saffron Robe No wax-induced nightmares here, only palpitations in anticipation of the needle dropping! Now that it has, what can I say? Wow, what a sensational album. The original is a classic, but this takes the blueprint to a whole different level. Doug must be one of the best bassists in the world – he has graced so many fine records with his distinctive touch. Full marks all round. Not to be missed by any discerning music lover. Favorite track: Nyabinghi Dub.

mcdan77 Edit: I'm blown away by this release. Amazing concept - global female vocal reggae album with contributions in Hindi, Mandarin Chinese, Yoruba, Arabic, Tigrinya etc. And then there's the music. Superb production as you'd imagine from Adrian Sherwood, plus songs and emotions and vibrations of the highest energy and deepest feeling. I'm especially struck by Rita Morar's "Meri Awaaz Sumo" (funky!), Kerieva's "Chavale" (violin!), and JaGodDa's "Krysztalowy Aniol" (soulful!). But it's all great... Favorite track: Chavale.
    Jason Boardman thumbnail
Jason Boardman Astounding collection of female fronted global, reggae music, a very special project indeed, big recommendation.. Favorite track: Meri Awaaz Suno (Hear My Voice).
    Nicholas Violo thumbnail
Nicholas Violo This is such a terrific exploration into what the female voice can do with in Reggae/alternative world music.
This is an unbelievable gift and collection of terrific vocalists and worldly musicians to give credence to female fronted reggae.
It is awesome. Thank you Adrain Sherwood for giving us this terrific gift of music.

    Favorite track: War.
