  1. Crack-Up
    by Fleet Foxes
    supported by
    sarikat thumbnail
sarikat A companion through my life’s unmoorings, listened to most recently by the waves of Lake Michigan.

Like water, these songs will hold you afloat, and like water, they will not hesitate to hurl you against the rocks. Let them wash over you. Devastating and overwhelming and beautiful, as cracking open often is. Favorite track: On Another Ocean (January / June).
    Drenochrome thumbnail
Drenochrome This might be my favorite album of all time, if it was even possible to decide. It is an album that deserves to be played at full volume at all time. The first six songs off the album are all perfect, especially the first. The way that it sweeps back and forth from loud to soft is the most beautiful thing I have ever heard in music. thank you fleet foxes for changing my life Favorite track: I Am All That I Need / Arroyo Seco / Thumbprint Scar.
    samsssam024 thumbnail
samsssam024 Crack-Up hits you hard at times and then it comforts you with such sweetness seldom seen and heard in this world. It’s a beautiful work of art all by itself and Fleet Foxes’s most vulnerable and felt album. Gorgeous. Favorite track: Third of May / Odaigahara.

    DownByTheRiver9 thumbnail
DownByTheRiver9 Heard Golden Eagle on BBC 6 Music - Tom Robinson played it. I was aware of Chris Brain and this radio play jolted me into buying the album. Glad I did, it's really good, especially if you are into that alt.folk thing that's rooted in the songs of Nick Drake/John Martyn. Favorite track: Golden Eagle.
