    Caizoe thumbnail
Caizoe Excellent. An airy, transcendent, ritualistic black metal experience, fully embracing a psychedelic, acid-drenched atmosphere. The drumming is insane, and the guitar work is ultra-violent. Favorite track: Vorago.
    Unhinderedbytalent thumbnail
Unhinderedbytalent Hints of the avant garde, whilst still retaining the very core of conventional black metal in their hearts, this Italian outfit caught me off guard with this unexpected find. DSO vibes are strong but there's reminders of Akhlys and Thantifaxath here also. Favorite track: Larvæ.
    rvss.eel thumbnail
rvss.eel Just say the word "Gorrch" out loud while looking at this cover art and most potential listeners are already gone. Like the writhing mass of worms in the old hoodie, Stillamentum is dense and always moving. These are tremolo'd strings that feel tense and active, even when held in place. The kind that impress with powerful mood rather than power of riff. Dissonance is also the word here, but it's beautiful, like looking up at the sun through the torrent of ice shards hailing down into your eyes. Favorite track: Larvæ.

L!ki I dont know what makes it beutifal, but I love it. As someone who loves raw gangster rap. This speaks to me for whatever reason. I dont understand it, and yet I cant get enough of it. this album is incredibly special.
    tiss0006 thumbnail
tiss0006 These guys exhibit so many typical black metal tropes - Lo-fi sound, blast beats, tremolo, background shrieks, corpse paint, unreadable logo, black and white washed out album art, two dudes hanging out in the woods.... but then you listen and say "is that a punk drum beat? Is that a major key? Elements of emo? Shoegaze? Changing tempos? Whoa!". It's definitely something special! Favorite track: That Which Dwells Within.
    apperceptionist thumbnail
apperceptionist Raw as hell. Traditional enough without being derivative; playful enough without straying too far from the genre's core. I think it displays a sensibility only found in the youngest artists within the genre, and it's so exciting to think of what they'll do next. Favorite track: Vampyric Comet.

positronicping After inducting you into his dark realm with the intro track, Nuno unleashes both diabolical blackened death barrels across this EP. The sound is immense (those drums!!), and because of Conduit's mastery of dynamics, the immensity envelops you. Perfection. Favorite track: Resonance Mantra.
    bmurator thumbnail
bmurator Portuguese Blackened Death Metal. Fantastically dark in every way! Love *all* the vocals... :) I have had this on rotation since I received it which means I definitely want & *need* more please! If this is just the beginning then there are no limits to where this new project can go & I look forward to being here at every step... :) Thanks Sérgio! Highly recommended!!! Favorite track: Conduit to a Threshold.
