nontendo Whenever I listen to this album, I picture rain, like mornings showers, evening downpours, and nights of crackling thunder. Despite the album cover being a snow globe of sorts, Patience evokes a feeling of being exposed to the outside world that contrasts Leyland’s other works, like I’m sitting on the porch looking upon meadows stretching out towards the horizon. It’s an incredibly diverse album even though it primarily uses piano instrumentals. Favorite track: When the dog days were drawing to an end.

Lossless Here, we delve deeper into the depths of The Caretaker's introspective emotions and significant complexities regarding its music. Great album, and one of the best soundtracks for a haunting documentary. Favorite track: Now the night is over.

יוניקורן ג׳אנקי (UNCRN JNKI) Deceitful Nostalgia: the crackle, ballroom reverb, and worn-out melodies aren't just vintage, but feel like decaying memories, as if the past is replaying itself from inside a damaged archive.

What comes to mind is the photograph from the end of The Shining, the balcony/diner scene from The Carnivale series, and the surreal dance from Carnival of Souls.

I envision a gala evening, Empty Bliss is playing there, forever. The dead applaud, they have but one virtue - Looking Like Each Other...

kkona By far my favorite yellow swans record. Something about it makes me keep crawling back to it’s indescribable onslaught of noise. Every time I listen I discover another layer of noise I hadn’t heard before that completely changes how I hear the song. 10/10 best noise album ever man. Favorite track: Comedy Hypnosis.

flossy- An incredible wash of noise that's both all-consuming and comforting at the same time. Feels like "Going Places" but turned up to 11. Favorite track: Public Space.
