Azza Saw you guys live for the first time yesterday, I thought you were excellent
This EP kills, the concept, the feel, execution, great stuff.
    James McCombe thumbnail
James McCombe Extreme metal for EVERYONE. With my own past & present health struggles this shit speaks to me. The band name, the lyrical themes…… and a vocal delivery that is suitably emotionally driven makes this album a true and resonating gem.

    Der Brecher thumbnail
Der Brecher I guess everything has been said about this, but I'll add that in addition to writing some of the most insane and ridiculously complex songs ever, I can attest to them being an incredible live band as well. Catch em if you can. I know I will next time around <3
    David Fischer thumbnail
David Fischer After Hive Mind Narcosis, I have no doubt that Thantifaxath is the best Canadian black metal band. What's being delivered in these unfathomable 46 minutes simply deserves a league of its own. The sound is beautiful and threatening, the music expansive and seemingly dismissive of genre boundaries and concepts. Yet, one sinks ever deeper into the black swamp instead of leaving it. This is the epitome of slipping into insanity, it's losing your own conscience to the gaze of the abyss. Magisterial! Favorite track: Mind of the Sun.
    minusoneman2 thumbnail
minusoneman2 This monstrous masterpiece was sleeping far too long in my wishlist. Simply great sophisticated dissonant, edgy and evil BM with class! Favorite track: Burning Kingdom of Now.

    by HUSSAR
    featured track 00:00/00:00
    All-Consuming Hunger All-Consuming Hunger
    supported by
    Lorenzo thumbnail
Lorenzo Explosive death metal chaos. Heavy as all hell right out of the gates, All-Consuming Hunger lays waste with an attack of hellfire riffing, blasting drums, and a menacing vocal delivery

Burying the listener with a seemingly never-ending barrage, Hussar works to overpower and dominate throughout, with essentially no reprieve on the horizon. A touch of progressive tone is added to the hightlight 'Dissonant Weeping...', particularly with the serpentine bass flourish that yields into the track Favorite track: Dissonant Weeping Of A Thousand Widows.
    Hussar1982 thumbnail
Hussar1982 Easily the AOTY for 2022. Hussar is a force to be reckoned with. This is a band every fan of DM should know about. Favorite track: Ritualistic Castration Of The Feeble-Minded Cowards.
