camilrice this is the most beautiful album I’ve ever experienced. Every song is just as impactful as the last. The words are put together like a painting, and Segarra’s voice lends perfectly to folk. I recommend it to every music lover I meet, and wish I could hear it for the first time again. Favorite track: Blue Ridge Mountain.

Paul (Leslie) I’ve paired this with a lyrically similar track by a fellow songwriter/guitarist, Nadia Reid. Her song “Get the Devil Out” helped me understand a lot about my life and perceptions I viewed in eschewed secular thought due to a hefty amount of unprocessed religious trauma from navigating a closeted queer childhood/adolescence. That broke during a mental crisis in 2021. Your “A Perfect World” helps me realize even more about where I was, where I am, and how I’ll move forward.
Thank you 🤘🏾 Favorite track: A Perfect World.

hauriant This is just such a cool way to process a period of your life. Kendrick's, I mean. I feel like I'm looking at light through a prism and twisting it this way and that and seeing what bends out of it.

    theUtmost thumbnail
theUtmost Not just another brilliant fuzzy, jangly indie guitar pop album, no sir. What sets this apart is the vocals. I love the contrast between shout singing, and use of lower registers. On paper, it shouldn't work this well, but, I love it. Brilliant.
Tour only got the nod due the fun timing, many other great tracks in here.
Fitting to release on Flying Nun, I hear so so many influences from past FNR luminaries. Favorite track: Tour.

Wade Luigi 🤘👍🏿 What a great album! The version of She Sells Sanctuary is so different, yet so fundamentally THAT song too, it’s hard to go past as my fav. But, Straight to Hell - wow. And, Rain - go The Cult! And…well, you get the picture. Favorite track: She Sells Sanctuary.
    richandrews thumbnail
richandrews I love this record because it covers (no pun) a wide spectrum of styles yet comes up Dandy Warhols ever time. I’m thinking volume two as there’s more to draw from. At least now we got em on vinyl and hopefully a cd on the way 🌀💙🎶

esoteric soundscapes Finally, some brilliant new music from Ida No. After waiting an eternity for a Glass Candy album that never came, this is something that transcends both Ida and Nat's previous incarnations, yet retains traces of both but is wholly unique and could only have been made possible by these two brilliant musicians. I have been a big fan of their oeuvre since the early daze. This one will be on heavy rotation for a long time.
