Everything Nick Hakim has ever done has rooted in my soul like a seed in dirt. His music has been the soundtrack to every moment I've wanted to savour for the past 12 years. This album is once again meeting me where I'm at, grounding me, opening me, nourishing me.

Im so grateful to live in the same time as this beautiful human and artist. The honesty, integrity and care that has gone this music makes it everything that it is. M1 made me cry first time i heard it. Thank you Nick. Never stop creating.

Will we then see things clearly,
Or only darkness?

A true underground gem that I keep coming back to time and time again - thank you "the Internet" for lifting it from obscurity... this and Bowery Electric's "Beat"

This little record is one of my favorites of all time- has been since it first came out in ‘97. There’s something about it...I find it’s particularly nice on an autumn evening, but anytime will do.

Just want to scream like this singer haha.
Favorite track: No Gospel.

To echo what others have said…this is the best screamo album, perhaps ever. I’m only slightly obsessed with Palo Santo. I’ve played that song more times than I’d admit to, but the album as a whole is pretty much perfect.
dearambelina
Genuinely the greatest Screamo record I have ever listened to. The music speaks for itself in this case.
Favorite track: Bodega Head.

Eyelet deliver another classic that just wants to drag you down into the void. Its dark, violent, punishing. I love their brand of heaviness- its murky and enveloping with periods of brightness that shine through.
Favorite track: Cascade.
Adam Andrade
It feels like eyelet evolved to create a perfect album for me. This sludgy skramzy hardcore reminds me of some kind of awesome mix of my fictions and trenches, my highest of praise.
Favorite track: Perpetual Motion Disease.

Wow! One of the pride o' Baltimore bands. In the past they might've been on a local label like Reptilian making absolutely nothing for their troubles. This looks and sounds amazing. I can't wait to hold my nebula Solenoid vinyl in my own filthy hands! This rocks out with all kinds of stuff out. The last scream of "WAAAAAAIT' wraps things up beautifully. Brutally.
Favorite track: Wait.

such an insane evolution for the band, absolutely amazing
