nikolademitri8784 Purchased blind, bc Boomkat put it #1 AOTY ‘25.. I had listened to some Rat Heart tracks in the past, but never given them a proper chance. I now need to explore their whole catalog.
Perfect for early morning/late night.. Gives me the feels that James Blake did in my youth, but guitar driven, better vocals. Spiritually nourishing, though a little sad, but not depressing. “Ethereal” is overused, but it’s perfectly apt. This is a masterpiece, really.
