Justin McNeil What I love about this comp is how they made each cover their own. To me, it just sounds like another Four Stroke Baron album. Like if I went into it blind, I’d have no idea they were covers. The re-recordings of old songs are amazing as well.

MyNameIsRedundant A prog/alt rock record with a sense of nostalgia
It meshes some pretty fun and relatively simple affects of older rock with a fresh sense of prog with more complex sound design.
The nostalgia factor is of the charts in the vocals, which are already super unique and standout, thanks to the echo effect layered over them.
Similarly, the guitar tone is stripped back for what is expected of modern prog but matches perfectly with the vocals thanks to the less obvious echo that also sits on the guitars Favorite track: Lowly Argonaut.

Shane Semler Everyone seems to be be focused on Four Stroke Baron's new stuff but this first album is as good as anything they've done. Lots of people like to say what FSB sound like so I might as well too - they remind me of Helmet. It sounds like there's a lot of 90s alt-metal influence here, which I think is awesome! Also, it's pay what you want. Buy it! Favorite track: Vacant Planet.

ArtNick67 Metal records all sound the same to me - a bag of all black jelly beans. At last here is something fresh and new added to the genre. Mainly other flavors like cherry, lime and orange, yet no less heavy or impactful for the bouquet. Its fresh, its clever, and it rocks! What more could you want?
