undeadz I swear I've listened to this entire album at least 3 times a day since I bought it. Thank you. Can't wait for a physical release.... Favorite track: Hell Is A Relief.
    acaDamien thumbnail
acaDamien This is incredible. It is all sludgy, doomy, post amazing. Incredible music and the vocals are just perfection. First time listening to this is occurring in the dark and the ferocity in this with the slower, chiller moments really set an incredible atmosphere. This album has teeth to it, really going with the ferocity at times. Favorite track: Adorn The Earth.

Anointing The Sick Metal Blog 2/7/21

A slight departure from earlier works from Sundowner. The doom and sludge is still there in spades but the Aussie guys have gone and added touches of powerviolence for added cranial damage. It's like a doom version of Greenmachine.

Jarrad Robb Fuckin, kick-down-a-wall shit. Let’s go
    hektickaos thumbnail
hektickaos Often times you ask yourself "would this exist in its current state if IRON EATER never had anything to record this on?"
The answer may be subjective, but you're never left content with what could have not been What a ferocious first release. Iron Eater's rendition of Demolition's "Intruder" though ambitious, was well thought out and Knob Justin and the gang really made it their own!
Would recommend this demo to a friend or foe! Favorite track: Intruder.

    parazyte thumbnail
parazyte the vocals of this band are phenomenal, after a year of listening to them i went n read the lyrics, and in some cases i felt embarassed that i was holding songs with such high esteem with such silly lyrics. but thats the beauty of music, i couldnt care less what message a band is trying to send as long as the music sounds amazing, and in that area Jalang excels. PS. I never heard a female vocalist sound so motivated. lets not forget that the crust punk music perfectly accentuates the voice. A+
    Thibaut Devigne thumbnail
Thibaut Devigne Some pretty good hardcore punk here. Screeching vocals over fast and catchy riffs: it's a good recipe for a headbang. It's long enough for the listener to appreciate, yet short enough that it doesn't overstay its welcome. Good stuff. Favorite track: Lawan Dan Hancurkan.
    Bianca Valentino thumbnail
Bianca Valentino One of the most exciting Australian hardcore releases of 2021. It’s charged by a sense of revolutionary urgency. Lyrically exploring themes of politics, religion, feminism and queer rights in South East Asia and beyond. Vocalist Alda delivers authoritative vocals in Bahasa Indonesia and English, engaging with both her own and collective narratives, giving the songs real substance and authenticity—the record is deep. Danceable thrash! Favorite track: Cops N Klan.

Benjamin Murray Incredibly skilful and sensitive reinterpretations of an album I know I'm not alone in saying is dear to my heart.

Thanks ixi Favorite track: A Warm Place.
    arkasha thumbnail
arkasha The way The Downward Spiral was played makes me tear up every single time, and evokes such a powerful emotional response. Amazing work Favorite track: The Downward Spiral.
    _noech thumbnail
_noech I've listened to the original album probably thousands of times and never thought I'd have a reason to revisit it in my older years, but here we are -- reinvigorated, stripped down, and rendered beautifully, even when coming from what was ostensibly very ugly, noisy source material. Simply breathtaking. Favorite track: Mr. Self Destruct.
