doive Here's to some more cosmic metal, the Karlsruhe based outfit offers crude yet extremely well produced sound in this earlier effort.
Featuring mid-tempo cadences, occasional blast beating, high pitched shrieking essentially, the riffing has this mildly meaty, sensational over-atmospheric tilt that's always well received on my part.
The perspective of getting sucked into a wormhole had never felt better I kid you not.
Emperor and Inherits the Void in mind, you just can't skip this one. Favorite track: Last Transmission.

sashavonkarl74 Never say Never, as they say, maybe just "later"... that's what happened to me with Vorga. Seen them live, was not in the right mood maybe, but the new release "Beyond the Palest Star" convinced me to give this album a try too, and I was happy I did. Vorga play very good, fine melodic Black Metal !! Favorite track: Fool's Paradise.

mintymetal so many gems in this album but after i went through this in order for my review, i kept returning to this anguished call to humanity, an emblem of despair in vast nothingness. a shred of hope dashed, as this album as a whole speaks to the annihilation of the ideals of humanity and the pedestals they sit on - and what happens when we watch all that shatter. there are plenty of outer space themed albums, but VORGA brings us something worth listening to. Favorite track: Last Transmission.

FDJ (Desert Psychlist) Usually i like my doom with its vocals buried a little deeper in the mix but these are pushed right up high at the front and it works! Great musicianship too, the bass player is laying down some absolutely crazy shit on the opening number Favorite track: Against the Mountain.

acaDamien Recommended to me based on similar styles, I immediately fell in love with this. It hits so many things I love about music. Incredible vocals, beautiful music, that jazz throughout is fantastic. Very emotionally moving. This is going to be played for many years. Favorite track: Cronus.

quadkanix It's hard not to love a Toby Driver release. I have no doubt that I would consider him one of the greatest minds in music. His style of writing is so singular that I doubt anyone could ever recreate a Kayo Dot or maudlin of the Well album. Favorite track: The Manifold Curiosity.

hamzehaladwan The dynamics on this are beyond otherworldly and the manner in which they are approached is truly novel. I could talk about the intricacies of the music forever and still wouldn't run out of words of praise towards it. Favorite track: Wayfarer.

frunkzappa It is my favourite album of all time. I always loved music and was always going to do it for my whole life but this album made that love even stronger. It sounds cheesy but it really did awaken something in me. Thank you Kayo Dot for creating some of the best music I have ever heard 🤘 Favorite track: The Manifold Curiosity.
