iskeptici One of the best post-punk records in recent history - massive "fuck you" energy turned up to 11 with guitar lines that cut like a knife and lyrics just as sharp. Excellent production, everything sounds crisp and gritty at once and the 45rpm vinyl sounds amazing. Great stuff Favorite track: Vacant.

exquicorp Went from the Walkmen over to Fontains DC over to Deadletter which led me to Chalk and then final destination of The 113 (with a side trip over to France to hear some rap).
Love the post-punk/dark wave punk genre... the persistent beat...the angst and the power...the energy.
Back Pedaler is one of best songs I've heard in a while. The vinyl was gone... but came back for the repress.

Chris W I love this album. You can’t really pigeonhole it to a specific genre. The guitar will slice through you at times. The vocals are a little no wave. Sometimes the bass has a sludgy doom vibe to it. Then out of nowhere the song will break into something completely different. It pushes boundaries. Great debut full length.
