William Neil C. These hour long environments are deeply calming. I like how this one hovers almost leaning into a song, makes it interesting, but still keeps the slowness.

Pat-from-ID My ambient music collection is either sleep, easy listening/background or active listening. This album is mostly active listening pieces and I'm enjoying it immensely. Reminds me (in places) of the early Ray Lynch works when "new age" music was in its infancy. Favorite track: Falling Snow, Whispering Tides.
    Progressive Music Planet thumbnail
Progressive Music Planet Yet another masterpiece by Erik Wøllo. One of my favorite artists. Favorite track: Glass Reverie.
    Carsten Pieper thumbnail
Carsten Pieper As the Norwegians have a very high winter-per-inhabitant ratio, they obviously are good about winter stuff, as we can see in the current Winter Olympics. So, it's not that surprising that esteemed soundsmith Erik Wøllo doesn't disappoint with this wintry release. Very recommended if you like to chill-out in glacial landscapes of the mind and such.... Favorite track: Glass Reverie.

Somerled What a release to wrap-up the year.
This album very quickly became a personal favorite:
it's brimming with a weighted equilibrium that titters more on the darker and heavier side of things, all the while carrying the lovely ghostly tint the music usually published on this label carries.

It has perhaps more meaning than "normal" between its textural brushes and field recordings.
Absolutely amazing; rewards active listening. Favorite track: Envisioning the Immediate.
