Madeline Tasquin I haven't even listened through the whole thing and already it's helping me process all the feels. One of my first fave songs clicked at random is "Candy" by Olive Mitra... why? I dunno I guess cuz it's round and has no words and those things are soothing right now. But damn all the songs I've heard so far have their own healing magic Favorite track: Candy.

Impolight Pop Ambient 2019 is a marvel unto itself: While it is evident that the evolution of quality electronic music is a multipronged and many splendored thing, a good deal of the excitement is detecting the influence that some of the progenitors of the craft have had on these upcoming artists. Favorite track: Bluebird.

Quinn the Eskimo I love ambient, 'soundtrack-ish' music. Especially soundtrack music waiting for a film. Most especially semi-creepy soundtrack music waiting for a film made by the ghosts of Wim Wenders and Dario Argento, starring Jessica Harper and Anthony Perkins on acid. What's not to love? Get the vinyl, it's just cooler and EXTREMELY high quality. Very impressed. Favorite track: Rot 2.

D. Humo No much words... this is music one level above. Favorite track: Araña De Vidrio.

Andrew Neilson Another lovely mix of tracks, even more ambient than before (if that's possible). Favorite track: Adren.

AJ. Probably the DJ Kicks album that I return to the most. A real melting pot of music with something for pretty much everyone. Favorite track: Fall For You (Sandy Rivera's Classic Mix).

Jascha Narveson Soft glitchy ambient electronic music. Sonmi451 has his own sound, but this music is adjacent to early Oval, Jan Jelinek, and a little bit Susumu Yokota (especially "Up Goes the Green Flare" with its warm breeze of a flute sample that wafts in and out).

Lovely. I especially listen to this in the morning. Favorite track: Up Goes The Green Flare.

AllenMueller I've spent years listening to this album. It's still a wonder to steep in the environs within each track, each place. One is surrounded in expansive and permeating dark matter, while the realm of vocal frequencies glistens with impossibly soft, quiet intricacies.

September 2018 update: I've recently happened across an article discussing the merits of ASMR and now I believe this must be a factor in the creation of A Phosphorus Spot. If not, then it's an incredibly happy accident. Favorite track: Phosphorous.
