Olli Kietäväinen Pepe Deluxé, Moby and Gorillaz walk into a dive bar. They order a round of drinks and look around. The place is empty, apart from Boards of Canada, who are whispering notes of static from a corner.

They sit by a window table. It is still pouring outside, and the grey is spreading over the suburbia. Little by little, they let the melancholy in.

But as time passes, the miracle of the everyday sparkles through. The concrete gives way to cracks of life, and they find meaning in the mundane. Favorite track: Väärä numero.

TheEliteExtremophile The music ranges from delicate and anxious to fairly heavy and aggressive. Bits of tinfoil-laden narration are woven into the music in a way that enhances the overall effect.

Zipfelkappe What should I say? The music carries you away, gently rocking to it's rhythm. An ingenious composition of rhythmic and sound elements.

Rudi On this beautiful midsummer evening at the end of July 2024 at the Alten Hafen Würzburg, I listened to this very independent, distinctive fusion of Conic Rose: spherical - electronic - hip-hop… Love it!
    Michael Santhanam-Martin thumbnail
Michael Santhanam-Martin Saw these wonderful folks on their first international tour. The music is layered with pathos and their synergy and stage presence are next level. This is what music (and flügelhorn) can be. Favorite track: Honeylake.

    Dr. Reality thumbnail
Dr. Reality An extremely rare example of retro sci-fi sounding more 1970s than 80s. To this day I’ve found nothing that sounds quite the same as Forever Dilating Eye with the Carpenter synths and the surreal synthetic choir and the almost tribal sounding drums, and then 1966 feels like Tangerine Dream circa 1974 prototyping the psychedelic nightmare vibe of Altered States. This is amazing. Music (and movies) like this make me really proud to be Canadian. Favorite track: Forever Dilating Eye.
    sara__p thumbnail

Rob Williams I love the 70's and 80's synth sounds. This captures them perfectly. Favorite track: Forever Dilating Eye.
