Alexander Pugachev Frontierer's stuff may not be the most memorable or diverse, but when you're in the mood for some relentless hyper-agressive odd-time groove, they're unrivaled. Favorite track: Corrosive Wash.
    Mr.Paul thumbnail
Mr.Paul Sounds like Meshuggah falling down a stairwell made of fists and sci-fi laser sound effects. Thank you. Favorite track: Corrosive Wash.

aamateur Pressing play on this album out of curiosity and getting hit with the the auditory equivalent of a building being collapsed on my head genuinely changed everything for me.
I never thought i'd have such a dumb smile on my face when listening to a song like heirloom and thinking "damn, i get it" Favorite track: Heirloom.

    IDE thumbnail
IDE A perfect blend of old school death metal and hardcore. Versatile old school death metal riffs and arrangements, in the vein of Bolt Thrower, Autopsy, and Obituary, with uncanny and hellish atmosphere. Tons of ominously violent hardcore beatdown making the tracks more thrilling than old school death metal in itself. This is both a great old school death metal and a greatest beatdown hardcore!
★★ Favorite track: Condemned to Exist.

brineryte This album would be more aptly named "Hits From The Bow II: Hits From The Stern". It so hearkens back to that first album that changed the face of experimental metal. I can't believe I missed this 6 years ago, but I'm so glad it exists. 10/10.
    D. Lawrence Anderson thumbnail
    D. Lawrence Anderson Honestly just the best album they ever put out. If you liked Hits From the Bow, you're gonna dig this. Favorite track: My Newest Vision” (feat. Rob Smith of Heavy Heavy Low Low/Downstariis).
