    Nicholas Kent thumbnail
Nicholas Kent After my initial dozen or so listens (😬), my only real gripe is that the record feels too short... I always want more haha. This is noticeably different in some ways for this band, but I am totally cool with that - they've had a fairly consistent sound for a long time so mixing it up a bit is a good thing, to me. I think the only tracks I haven't been able to fully get into so far are The Air's on Fire & Rising Skyline (never been a huge fan of guest vocalists). The title track is 🤤🤤🤤. Favorite track: A Way Down.
    indegoraven thumbnail
indegoraven Failure has once again delivered an album that is totally Failure but also different than anything they’ve done previously. This album is a nod to the 80s, and an embrace of modern sound. Failure is a rare band. To break up and then return to give us music that just as good (if not better) than their previous releases is something I do not take for granted. When I think about Failure, I don’t think about what they’ve done, but what they can (and hopefully will) do in the future! Favorite track: Solid State.

  4. GET COLOR
    by HEALTH

    mrs.sardonicus thumbnail
mrs.sardonicus One of the most creative noise rock/pop albums I've ever heard. Something that is impossible not to move along too. Some hints of the direction HEALTH would be going stylistically from here, but with it's own very unique kick that makes it stand out from the rest of their disog. Favorite track: NICE GIRLS.

judgeu My favorite Health album. Favorite track: WE ARE WATER.

    dxn66 thumbnail
dxn66 I first heard Health during the Max Payne 3 soundtrack & later encountered 'MEN TODAY' on the Hitman (2016 - Season Premiere) trailer. Health have been doing various collaborations & projects within the Electronic & Industrial music space and have an identifiable sound that is entirely relevant. Favorite track: FLESH WORLD (UK).
    putridsothoth thumbnail
putridsothoth Between this and get color I can’t pick a favorite. I was surprised to hear how they changed to more metal in the following albums. Still enjoyable, but nothing beats Death Magic and get color.
    Nathan C. Stoker thumbnail
Nathan C. Stoker This album is gonna be 10 years old next year, and it's still just as good as the first time I listened to it. Favorite track: MEN TODAY.

Instant preorder anything Shaun & Leo do, always been the quality I crave in art. I do really appreciate the longevity of working with artist A.J. Garces Bohmer, the visual art is inseparable from the music, kinda reminiscent of KMFDM and Aidan Hughes. Favorite track: No Percentage in Caution.

    Shane Dangers thumbnail
Shane Dangers the definitive collection of the early works from THE BEST gothy band of the last 20 years..the creativity and soul of these 2 dudes is something really special. and Deb Demure and Mona D have to be the 2 coolest looking guitar🎸and synth🎹gods ever!!! Favorite track: Unknown To The I.
    Brian thumbnail
Brian Hard to pick one song. I absolutely love this band. Dark Wave, Shoegaze/Dreampop. Are they spoofing the genre? Sometimes it feels that way as this is a side gig for the lead singer allegedly.-- Start with The Foyer, the go to "Everything is Sentimental", then go deep with "Hallow". Favorite song is Pragmagick. Bonus songs...Waiting Game, Unknown to The I. So many great songs. Great compilation. Favorite track: Pragmagick.
