  1. Spacemen Mystery of the Terror Triangle
    by The Night Monitor

    allieanasu thumbnail
allieanasu probably still my favorite Night Monitor project, although it has tough competition. With the world seemingly falling apart I'd rather spend time thinking about mysterious spacemen, strange lights, and melt into eerie relaxation. Favorite track: Ellyllon and On.
    amo_bishop_roden thumbnail
amo_bishop_roden Have been a fan of Neil Scrivin, and he doesn’t disappoint with this. What a wonderful surprise out of left field, it’s so good! Favorite track: A Megalithic National Grid.
    Letters From Mouse thumbnail
Letters From Mouse listening to this I actually feel like I have been abducted. Thankfully the probe didn't happen (or did it?). Wonderful collection of tunes that describe the subject matter perfectly. An excellent listen that deserves a place in your collection.
    Carpet Soup thumbnail
Carpet Soup Great album for mowing the lawn if you get over the paranoia of being abducted. Favorite track: Beneath RAF Brawdy.

    by The Night Monitor

    thumpasauruspeoples thumbnail
thumpasauruspeoples The 'Perception Report' series remained an enigma until today... Thanks Neil for the vinyl treatment. What can I say, other than utterly brilliant. Sounds appear, melt & blend effortlessly in a masterful production, easily the best synthscapes this side of cult 80's film noir. And, based on strange historical tales of encounters closer to home. Priceless audio accompaniment to the near extinct age of UK fringe lore Favorite track: Dance of the Mince Pie Martians.
    Andy Rogers thumbnail

  4. Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus (Original Soundtrack)

    for_valhalla thumbnail
for_valhalla From the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh, it disgusted me. I craved the strength and certainty of steel. I aspired to the purity of the blessed machine. Your kind cling to your flesh as if it will not decay and fail you. One day the crude biomass you call a temple will wither and you will beg my kind to save you. But I am already saved. For the Machine is Immortal. Favorite track: Children of the Omnissiah.
    Ippocalyptica thumbnail
Ippocalyptica While the game itself left much to be desired (and several far better Warhammer 40,000 games have since been released), the Mechanicus soundtrack is easily one of the best synth-based video game soundtracks of the past decade because of its perfectly quasi-minimalist approach. A lot of soundtracks think that being “cinematic” means throwing everything but the kitchen sink at the listener, but good composers know better. Impactful and focused motifs and beats defeat superficial excess every day. Favorite track: Noosphere.
