  1. Skate Story: Vol. 1
    by Blood Cultures
    supported by
    Ian Quinlan thumbnail
Ian Quinlan While it it was made for the Skate Story game, it is an excellent listen outside of that. I'm so glad that the game introduced me to such a wonderfully excellent band and produced such a great album as well! Favorite track: Alcian Blue.
    fishtacular friend thumbnail
fishtacular friend vibes of absolutely ethereal sentimentality, crying over a childhood home you never lived in; makes me wish i was in the underworld eating seven moons Favorite track: Where the City Can't See.
    Sprenzee thumbnail
Sprenzee I've been listening to this album over and over for a few days now, and it shreds the gnar. It broke my brain to learn that it was actually part of a video game soundtrack. And I listen to the Jet Set Radio soundtrack religiously. I highly recommend this even if you don't know what Skate Story is. Favorite track: Emptylands.

blujacket There is so much going on with these songs, I love em! Favorite track: Blood from a Stone.
    Joe Madden thumbnail
Joe Madden So, so good. Don't judge by the first track (an enjoyable enough 80's butt-rock homage); my favorites (2, 3, 4, and 6) have more compositional sophistication and emotional depth. Punchy and satisfying, but with an undercurrent of wistful longing -- in other words, good pop music. There's a bit of an 80's glam vibe, and hints of Thin Lizzy. Thank you band camp for introducing me to this! Favorite track: Blood from a Stone.
    ytsejammr97 thumbnail

-ka2ra- I listened to this album in the midst of one of the most gorgeous points of my life. There was definitely the aspect of uncertainty and fear but that's what made everything feel so good. This album hasn't punched me any weaker since that point, it never escapes my mind. Just unbelievable writing and production, I could talk for hours. I'm so in love with every song on this album, so much that my favourite song changes every time I listen! One of the greatest albums of all time in every aspect! Favorite track: Recycling.
