Josh Power Town Portal continues to do the damn thing. Perfect music somehow finding a way to get perfect...er. The bend on Pleasure Chamber's climax is the best single second of music I've ever heard. Favorite track: Pleasure Chamber.
    scum of the earth thumbnail
scum of the earth Hot damn, it's a math rock band who didn't forget to insert rock into the equation. Fills a void that was left by Don Caballero's hiatus. Bliv ved! Favorite track: Heart's Content.

oooil This shit rips. The violin and cello parts are great as well. Will be rockin' this one for a while. Favorite track: Crushed Under Something Gentle.

Nicholas Kent Good GOD this record is incredible! I highly recommend everyone to purchase this album!

After listening for the last month the only criticism I have is that the mix / master could use some tweaking, but that's just personal preference... sometimes the vocals are a little drowned out but that's rare and I agree with someone else's comment about the compression but none of this is more than a rather minor critique... this is an absolutely amazing record! Favorite track: Lazarus.

zendiagram66 These guys are geniuses. Plain and simple. I'm just starting to really sink my teeth into this and I'm already finding so many little gems tucked into the cloud of awesomeness. Favorite track: Lazarus.

John Thanks for the new album. I’ve got tix to see you on tour in October in KC! I can help as a guitar/bass/amp tech and all around sound man, if you need any help with roadie type stuff. - Merk

    Malcolm Maes-McCrimmon thumbnail
Malcolm Maes-McCrimmon The biggest problem with this album is that it's too short! At first I thought Identity Sequence was still the best (one of the best albums of all time, IMO), but like much of Andrew's music this album gets better the more you listen to it. Now I'd say it's a dead heat. Bravo! Favorite track: Stranger Skies (ft. Jillian Aversa).
    dragonscout5 thumbnail
dragonscout5 11/10. Outstanding follow-up to Identity Sequence. I hope the next one doesn't take over a decade! Favorite track: Modular Raindrops (ft. Jillian Aversa).
    Roger Barrass thumbnail
Roger Barrass Another excellent album by Zircon. I wasn't sure about The Other Side initially as it's quite different in style to the others but after reading the story of the character following their dreams to break free of the confines and control of an artificial city into the openness and freedom of the natural world I appreciated this album all the more.

All the tracks are good but based on the first-half feeling of elation and powerful destructive second-half I would have to go with Generator. Favorite track: Generator (ft. Jillian Aversa).

    bryface international music concern thumbnail
bryface international music concern One of the most expressive and complex chip albums in my recent memory. It blends aggressively dark industrial rhythms, dreamy ambient soundscapes, indie-flavoured melancholy, and just enough jazz/fusion complexities and musical turns to give the songs a sparkly sheen without needlessly distracting from their more primal and visceral aspects. Favorite track: dotted.

Mikhail Ivanov After years of hearing these songs at shows I finally have 'em in my player. Dammit, Joey! You're so good! Favorite track: modbossa.

benthos dot pdf I was a mega fan of this project back when I was in high school in 2007. I would walk around campus listening to this on rotation with crystal castles, bit shifter, various 8 bit peoples EPS on my gen 3 iPod dreaming of a chiptune future. If you're out there Vinny, thanks for all the memories!
