    Brutalist_Receptacle Self-slaughterer!
    Mother of degenerates!
You nurse of savage, ravening beasts!
    positronicping thumbnail
positronicping The Bekor Qilish signature sound of elastic, razor sharp, protean black metal is in full effect here. And it's mixed to perfection; the vocals (which sound like a Demilichian frog doing it's best blackened rasp) slice through the chaos, the riff breakdowns land hard, and the synths glisten and glide. Bruzzone is back! Favorite track: Where Horror Fadeth, Error Transcendeth.

karel_m Omg I was looking for this for sooooo long and it was totally worth it! Absolute banger of an album, that even cured my hangover! Imagine as if Slayer were playing only songs by Motorhead. AOTY

StrengthWithin I can tell this is going to be my driving album when it drops. I think it’s going to be a crafty beast

nicolescadres Aaron Turner, Brian Cook and Nick Yacyshyn. What can go wrong? Favorite track: Thorn In The Lion's Paw.
    mattgraupman thumbnail
mattgraupman An absolutely pummeling assault of thick sludgy riffs, guttural rumbles, and tribal drums. Listening to this album is like being slowly buried by an avalanche. Practically makes Isis sound like Top 40 pop music by comparison. Favorite track: The Deal.
    rubzosaurus thumbnail
rubzosaurus At the moment, The Deal is my favourite SUMAC release. Its sound, power and cover art remind of construction sites... for some reason. Don't ask why. Favorite track: The Deal.

    Luki13 thumbnail
Luki13 Ambient sound Iˇve been looking for ages, and that only Alio Die can create. So unique. Time-travel machine that takes you to places and times you´ve never been before, yet it feels so familiar. Like a long lost memories, like a deja-vu. Truly, this is a jewel. Grazie, Stefano.
    Anu Kirk thumbnail
Anu Kirk Alio Die delivers another "medieval ambient" album. Unique, beautiful, strange. Recommended for fans of "Horas Tibi Serenas" and unusual ambient. Favorite track: Sine Tempore - Part II.
    UntitledKirk thumbnail

fredkiesche My first musical encounter with the movie was this album (the movie wasn’t easily found at the time) and it remains my favorite, even edging out the actual movie score. Favorite track: Hidden Refuge.
    haroldz433 thumbnail
haroldz433 From the very beginning this is a journey into uncharted territory! Great to listen on headphones!
    nosohryuforyou thumbnail
nosohryuforyou Somehow organic-sounding, less moody than environmental. Free of the gimmicks that make other "dark ambient" music wear thin so quickly. Favorite track: Synergistic Perceptions.

    mysticwolf75 thumbnail
mysticwolf75 A personal favorite of mine from 1998. I remember having to special order this at Record Theater (before the days of the internet) to pretty much complete my Robert Rich collection at the time. I thought this was one of the most beautifully mysterious recordings I ever heard, and it remains a favorite to this day. I remember listening to this outside at my Grandparents' house in Summer 1998, and even my Grandpa seemed to like it. Favorite track: The Road to Wirikuta.

sashavonkarl74 “Geisterwerk” consists of seven tracks totalling almost 40 minutes of raw black metal. This Austrian outfit is obviously offering a great hommage to the Norwegian founders and should be definitely enjoyed by fans of cold and traditional black metal! Favorite track: Aus Abendrot und Blut.
