The Clash of Forces The Clash of Forces

    Grimmrobe thumbnail
Grimmrobe Emptiness has abandoned the ASMR route of their previous release and leapt back into the arms of deranged darkness. Favorite track: The Threat.
    Ippocalyptica thumbnail
Ippocalyptica Emptiness is a vibe unto itself, no other band sounding quite like this, a swirling and writhing manifestation of darkness given form through black and death metal alchemy. I saw them live two years ago and it gave me an idea of how it felt to be sucked into a black hole. Looking forward to the one!
    nick elliott thumbnail
nick elliott One of my most anticipated albums of the last few years. You never know what youre gonna get with these guys and thats why they rule. No one sounds like them

    featured track 00:00/00:00
To Become the Endless Static To Become the Endless Static
    supported by
    Ippocalyptica thumbnail
Ippocalyptica The best comment that I have seen describing this album, which is also one of the highest compliments, is that To Become the Endless Static is like an aural essay about Misthyrming’s Söngur heiftar. That is really all you need to know, aside from the fact that this is a huge step up for Aversio Humanitatis and their best work to date. And for those stubborn folk who won’t listen to or buy this because it is on Debemur Morti, get over yourselves: the label is awesome, as is this band!
    Urso X thumbnail
Urso X The album description says it all: “unrelenting, modernist, dissonant … black metal with the crushing brutality of angular death metal …immaculately produced”. In short, everything you’d want or expect from the follow-up to an album as breathtakingly singular as Behold the Silent Dwellers (which, as good as this is, remains my sentimental favourite). To the list!! Favorite track: Strange Angles.

    sashavonkarl74 thumbnail
sashavonkarl74 Brazilian melodic BM outfit now signed with Nothern Silence released this full-length last year, but as independent release. Like LAND OF FOG and a few other melodic BM bands, Brazil has a lot to offer when it comes to the known colder sound usually from Scandinavia... this is another opus there to prove it! Highly recommended if you like melodic black metal! Favorite track: Follow the Cold Path.
    Wound of Briccius thumbnail
Wound of Briccius Absolutely awesome Black Metal from Brazil! I am always impressed and awe-struck by what the Brazilian bands can do in the BM scene. Each song is powerful, brutal, yet atmospheric and full of sadness. It is genuinely hard to choose a singular favorite song. If you like bands like Lune and Imperium Dekandenz, you'll love Autrest. Favorite track: December Dusk.
    HeavyMetalDragon thumbnail
HeavyMetalDragon Beautiful album packed with amazing vocals, guitars, drumming, etc... Definitely one of my favorite albums for the year. Favorite track: Follow the Cold Path.
